Terms & Community Rules

These Terms & Community Rules ("Terms") govern your use of the Cache mobile app, website, invite pages, and related services operated by Cache Calendar ("Cache," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Cache, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cache. You must provide accurate information, maintain control of your phone number and devices, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed with your account and may not sell, transfer, or share account access.

What Cache provides

Cache is a calendar, planning, invitation, photo-memory, and shared-schedule service. Features may include event and calendar collaboration, reusable invite links, contact matching, notifications, photo suggestions, Apple or Google calendar synchronization, and AI-assisted Computa proposals. Some features may be unavailable on a device, platform, account, or region or may require permission, an external account, or a separate opt-in.

Cache is not an emergency, safety, medical, legal, financial, transportation, ticketing, or guaranteed reminder service. Verify important times, locations, invitations, and calendar changes using an appropriate authoritative source.

Your content and instructions

You keep ownership of content you submit to Cache. You give Cache a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting and media processing, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide Cache according to your settings and actions. This license lasts while the content is stored in Cache and continues for retained collaborative or legal records as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content and information about other people and to let Cache process and share it as you direct. Do not upload content or invite, identify, photograph, or describe another person in a way that violates their rights or applicable law.

Shared events, calendars, and links

Content is visible to people permitted by the applicable event, participation, calendar-share, and privacy settings. Shared-calendar views exclude events marked private under the product's current sharing rules. Participants may add, change, download, reshare, or delete collaborative content when the product gives them that ability, and their actions may affect other participants' calendars and history.

Reusable invite links are bearer links. Anyone who obtains a link may open its preview, forward it, or use it until it is revoked or otherwise unavailable. Only create and send a link or invitation when you have a reasonable relationship to the plan or calendar and permission to contact the recipient. You are responsible for choosing recipients and revoking links that should no longer work.

Calendar integrations

If you connect a calendar provider, you authorize Cache to create and synchronize the dedicated Cache calendar and its events within the permissions you grant. Synchronization may create, update, import, restore, or delete event copies in Cache or the connected provider in response to your actions, collaborator actions, provider changes, and conflict-resolution rules. Review deletion confirmations and disconnect choices carefully. Provider delays, outages, recurrence, attendees, reminders, conferencing, and other provider-only fields may not behave the same way in Cache.

Your use of Apple, Google, and other external services remains subject to their terms. You may disconnect an integration, but doing so does not necessarily delete Cache events or every copy previously shared with another service or person.

Computa and suggestions

Computa and other automated features can misunderstand messages, dates, people, places, privacy instructions, or calendar context. Computa produces a proposal for review; it does not guarantee an accurate event or invitation. You are responsible for reviewing a proposal before accepting it. Photo suggestions are likewise suggestions and require your review before photo files are uploaded.

Do not use Computa to process content you are not permitted to send to Cache or its AI provider. Do not rely on generated output as professional advice or as the sole basis for an important or time-sensitive decision.

Community rules

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, impersonate, spam, scam, promote hate, share sexual or violent abuse, endanger minors, or distribute illegal content. Do not post malicious links, malware, non-consensual intimate imagery, content that facilitates self-harm or violence, or another person's private information without permission.

Do not interfere with Cache, probe or bypass security or access controls, scrape the service, automate abusive activity, reverse engineer except where law permits, overload infrastructure, evade a block or suspension, manipulate invitations or engagement, or use another person's account or credentials.

Reports, blocking, and enforcement

Use the available menus to report content or block another user. Blocking affects future invitations, shares, suggestions, pairwise notifications, comments, and attachments but does not rewrite all historical events or memberships. We target initial review of in-app safety reports within 24 hours, but we do not guarantee a particular outcome or response time.

We may reject or remove content, limit invitations or messaging, revoke links, suspend features, or deactivate an account when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, infringes rights, threatens the service or another person, or is required by law. We may preserve relevant records for safety, security, appeals, or legal compliance. You may send questions or appeals to support@caaache.com.

SMS

Optional Cache SMS is governed by the separate SMS Terms. SMS consent is not required to use Cache and is not transferred between people or businesses. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Cache's service and intellectual property

Cache and its software, design, branding, and service content, excluding user content, are owned by Cache or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, Cache grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and service for their intended purposes.

If you send ideas or product feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but this does not give us ownership of personal content included in a support request.

Third-party services

Cache depends on third-party platforms and providers for app distribution, hosting, storage, phone verification, SMS, push delivery, diagnostics, maps and places, calendars, and AI processing. Their services and content may be governed by separate terms and may change or become unavailable. Cache is not responsible for a third-party service's independent acts, content, or availability, although we remain responsible for our own handling of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes, availability, and updates

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features and may issue app or server updates needed for security, compatibility, or operation. We work to keep Cache available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free service. Keep independent copies of content or calendar information you cannot afford to lose.

Ending your use

You may stop using Cache at any time and may delete your account in app settings. Account deletion immediately deactivates the account and starts the reviewed erasure process described in the Privacy Policy. Collaborative history may remain with your identity anonymized, and content already received, exported, downloaded, or reshared by others may remain outside Cache's control.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, licenses needed for retained records, disclaimers, limits on liability, and enforcement provisions, continue to apply after your use ends.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Cache is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that suggestions, generated proposals, notifications, calendar synchronization, shared content, or information supplied by other users will be complete, accurate, timely, secure, or available. These disclaimers do not limit rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cache and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use Cache. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Cache changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights or when law requires it. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using Cache and delete your account.
